Requirements for consideration:
Applicants must be accepted to an accredited post-secondary academic or vocational/technical program. Non-traditional students, individuals returning to the workforce, and continuing students are encouraged to apply. Each applicant is required to submit an essay for judging. Essay topics will vary annually and are determined by the MSA Board. To be eligible, applicants—or an immediate family member—must be affiliated with the Montana Snowmobile Association (MSA) or an MSA-affiliated snowmobile club.
2027 Scholarship Application
Deadline: DECEMBER 31, 2026
Status: Entry submissions closed - check back fall 2026
Essays will be evaluated based on depth of content, clarity, organization, and persuasiveness. The winning entry will be submitted to the American Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA) for consideration at the national level, where it will compete for additional scholarship funding.

Requirements are as follows:
- The applicant must submit the completed application form no later than the designated deadline date,.
- The applicant must submit a cover letter. This letter must include the student ID number and college/trade school name and the address to which a scholarship check would be sent.
- The applicant must submit a resume detailing his/her involvement in snowmobiling as well as extra-curricular/volunteer activities.
- The applicant must include an essay (essay subject on the application form). The essay MUST follow the format below to be accepted and should be sent in Word or Google Docs or video application.
